Q: Can I remove the vinyled art?

A: Yes, but the vinyled art will most likely be destroyed upon removal. The vinyled art is intended for one-time use only. Remove with caution if applied on a delicate suface such as wallpaper or cheap paint (may peel wallpaper/paint during removal) APPLY/REMOVE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Vinyled is not responsible for any damages caused by applying or removal of the vinyled art.

Q: How do I put my artwork on my wall?
A: Here are basic instruction on how to apply the vinyled designs to your wall, window, tabletop, etc.
PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS ALL THE WAY THROUGH BEFORE STARTING YOUR APPLICATION:

1. Clean wall or surface:
Don’t just assume it’s clean… clean it! The wall or surface must be smooth and free of any dust or dirt. If your walls are freshly painted wait a minimum of 1 week before applying the vinyl to make sure the paint is fully dry.

2. Vinyled art prep:
Lay the vinyled art on a flat surface. With the transfer tape side up (white backing side down), use an edge of a credit card or a similar squeegee-type object and press down and slide firmly over the entire transfer tape.

3. Set your layout:
You can use a little masking tape to help you determine the exact placement of the vinyled art. Do not remove the white backing until you are happy with your layout. NOTE: Once the vinyled art pieces are applied, they are removable but CANNOT be reapplied or be repositioned.

4. Applying the vinyled art:
Starting from any corner, SLOWLY peel the white backing away from the transfer tape. MAKE SURE THE VINYL IS STICKING TO THE TRANSFER TAPE. If some of the vinyl remains stuck to the white backing, stop, rub the stubborn area to make the vinyl stick back onto the transfer tape and SLOWLY continue peeling until the white backing is completely removed. Lower your vinyled art against the surface. Starting at the top/center, carefully move your hand across the transfer tape, working your way out to the edges/bottom making sure no air bubble get stuck in there. With your credit card, or equivalent, rub over the entire graphic, from the center to edges, to remove any air bubbles.

5. Removing the transfer tape:
Carefully remove the transfer tape starting from one corner, peeling it slowly and angled. MAKE SURE THAT THE VINYLED ART IS STICKING TO YOUR SURFACE AND NOT THE TRANSFER TAPE.

Please note that this is not the only way to apply vinyl correctly. If you would like more instructions or research more, we recommend to do a search on YouTube: "vinyl application" and you’ll find a bunch of helpful videos with detailed visual and verbal instructions on various ways to apply vinyl.

WARNING: Vinyled is not responsible for any damage caused by applying or removing of the vinyled art from any surface. Apply/remove at your own risk.

Q: Do you do custom vinyled designs?

A: Yes, we do custom work. E-mail us at custom@vinyled.com with details and your contact info and we'll get back to you ASAP. If possible, have your artwork in vectored format, saved in an .AI or .EPS file (must be a true vectored file, not an embedded bitmap). If you have no idea what that is, contact your graphic designer. If he/she has no idea, you need a new graphic designer. FYI: Vinyled graphic designers available for freelance.
